Do you know that tomorrow is the International Museum Day? Since 1977 this day has been celebrated almost everywhere in the world with free entrance in the museums. This Saturday, 21st of May will be also reserved for many activities in museums and monuments with free entrance, during the night. It is the European Museum Night. Shall we go?

Tomorrow is the celebration of the International Museum Day, celebrated almost everywhere in the world. In Portugal from north to south the day will offer free entrance to many museums and palaces with a vast list of activities from guiding visits, workshops, theatre and musical performances. The theme this year is ”Museums and Cultural Landscapes”, to ”promote the idea of a museum as a territorial centre from an active projection of the cultural landscape”, in a way to raise awareness for the ”intervening role which may play on the conservation and appreciation of this patrimonial universe.” (DGPC)
