On 18th April we celebrate the International Day of Monuments and Sites and like every year, it is time for you to check the museums that you would like to visit in Lisbon with free entrance! The main theme this year is Heritage for Generations. Besides the free entrance in museums and monuments, there will be workshops, music, theater performances throughout the next few days. Here are some of our suggestions!
5th tournament historical bow arrow
Remember Robin Hood in a tournament showing off his talent? In São Jorge castle there will be a similar tournament with bow and arrow and the participants will be dressed for the occasion. A time travel to the Medieval times which you can’t miss!

Concert Academia Amadores de Música
We couldn’t leave music behind in these series of events. In Santo António church there will be a classical music concert performed by the Amadores de Música Academy with a program which includes music composed by Bach and Vivaldi.

Underground Gallery of Loreto
It is just one of this moments that you’ll get the chance to walk through the underground galleries of Lisbon’s 18th century aqueduct. This visit includes also the Water museum, Natural History Museum and Science, inviting visitors to discover stories related to water and gardens.
